Reighton Sands
Reighton Sands Holiday Park is one of Havens 3-Star Caravan Parks in the North of England and it sits on a clifftop overlooking a five miles of sandy beach stretching from Speeton to Filey. Weather permitting Reighton Sands Caravan Park is as perfect as a beach holiday can be in the UK, and in fact the park offers direct access to the beach and is great for surfing, beach games or just plain old sunbathing – the expansive sandy bay is an ideal location for the family to get together and enjoy their stay.

Location
Reighton Sands is not far from the traditional English fishing town, Filey, located on the beautiful North East coast of England. You can choose just how active you want your time in Filey to be, you can simply relax and enjoy the breathtaking views from the clifftop on which the resort stands, or you can invigorate the lungs with a brisk walk along the the 5 mile stretch of sands that runs from Filey Brigg to the chalk cliffs of Speeton.
On the Reighton Sands Holiday Park
Reighton Sands, as with all Haven Holiday Parks, offers a great variety of activities on site. There is a terrific range of sports facilities and activities, suitable for all weathers, which offer enough to satisfy even the most energetic of families. Play football or rounders, exercise your skill with the bow and arrow or dazzle your family with your swordsmanship in the fencing club, there’s always something to inspire children and adults!
The Kids Clubs cater for kids from tots to teens and the whole family can go swimming in the excellent Swimming Pool and keep active with the regular SplashZone activities. There’s also Daytime and Evening Entertainment with a non-stop programme of shows and events with spectacular Family Entertainment. There’s a Café Bar & Grill, Family ShowBar and Shops & Services for all your needs.
Daytime Entertainment
Entertainment is laid on through the day to, so if you’ve had enough of the exertions of the sports and SplashZone activities then you can always find something else happening on the park any time of day.

Off the Park
Whitby
For those that don’t want to spend their whole time in site then there are a host of places to visit in the local area. We’ve already talked about Filey, but that isnt the only seaside resort in the area. Why not visit Whitby, most famous as the fictional landing place of none other than Count Dracula as his ship was wrecked on its shores. Alternatively count the steps up to the clifftop Abbey and take the audio tour of this classical structure.
Yorkshire Moors
What can we say about the Yorkshire Moors. A national park with unbeatable landscapes, wildlife and history – not to mention the great country pubs and Heritage sites, the North Yorkshire Moors are a huge favourite with active groups.
Flamingoland Zoo
The best theme park in the area; with over 100 rides as well as a thriving Zoo, flamingoland is definitely a must see, especially if you have kids. A single price for admission will give you access to all the rides, just make sure you avoid it on bank holidays because the queues can get a little long…
